After a satisfying career in private equity, in 2012 I decided to switch sides and become an entrepreneur. I like waking up in the morning knowing that we (the NewLeaf team) are working together to help feed a growing population in a beneficial and sustainable way. When not at NewLeaf, I divide my time between St. Louis, Boston and Camden, ME, but not necessarily in that order. For kicks, I spend a lot of time between 6,000 -10,000 feet as a private pilot. I also enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, traveling to out-of-the-way places with my wife, Jan and last but not least, doing stuff with my family including my two vivacious grandchildren, Theo and Mae.
